Last Friday (March 6) Kendrick sent out a tweet with a pre-order iTunes link revealing his new album’s release date (March 23). Little is know about the sophomore LP. Judging from the iTunes link there are 16 songs on To Pimp a Butterfly, including “The Blacker The Berry,” which was released back last month and and a digital booklet that fans receive when they purchase. Rolling Stone revealed that Lamar is their next cover star. In the issue, Kdot reveals that “i” will be on the album and serves as a counter-point to a song titled “u.”   (ReadMore)
